The best thing about where I live is it's complete and total diversity that permeates every school district and neighborhood regardless of economic status, The great diversity of the city in which I live also extends to social settings which is quite rare in the U.S. Beautiful affordable housing, world class shopping, nightlife that doesn't end, excellent restaurants, concerts and theater parks galore, museums and an overall high quality of life for the majority of residents or at least the real tangible hope of bettering oneself in Atlanta all blend together to make this city one that I'm glad to call home.

Wow Ice! You make me wanna book the next flight out to come visit Atlanta. I'm really looking forward to travelling -- will do so once the kids are a little older. When i saw this QotD, i just had to answer because like you, i also love the benefits of where i live. Toronto is known for it's diversity of race, religion and lifestyle. Our city is home to virtually all of the world's culture groups, with well over 100 languages. Now, that i call amazing.

I agree with you T on Atlanta. I'm from NYC and it's diverse but there is something different about Atlanta and it is the high economic lifestyle that is shared all over by people of all races, how everywhere is integrated both in housing, schools and employment and the social scenes are integrated too. I agree it's not like anywhere else I've seen. It's also soooo beautiful.

And Michelle Toronto is a great city too with a cool feel that has a feeling of being welcoming to all. Kind of like Paris but more laid back.
